Winter Sowing with Plymouth Pollinators
Winter sowing is a gardening technique that involves sowing seeds outdoors during the winter month, allowing them to naturally stratify and germinate when conditions are right in the Spring. Winter sowing in containers is a variation of this method where seeds are sown in containers instead of directly in the ground.
Event Location Information: Graye's Greenhouse 8820 N. Lilley Road, Plymouth, MI 48170
There will be two sessions offered: Sunday Feb 2nd from 11am-12:30pm or Saturday Feb 8th from 11am-12:30pm.
This event is in collaboration with Graye's Greenhouse
Please bring translucent or transparent container(s) with lids like milk or juice jugs, soda bottles, or clear plastic storage bins with clear lids. You may bring your own seeds or we will have native plant seeds available for purchase. Lastly, you may want to bring a pair of garden gloves since we'll be handling dirt. We will have some milk jugs onsite if needed.
Heart Ornament Workshop
Come join Tracey with Beyond Creative llc to create a vintage-inspired heart ornament inside the greenhouse.
Attendees with advanced beginner sewing skills will use a needle and thread to attach beads, stitch the edge with embroidery thread, fill the pillow with stuffing, and attach the handle and bow. All materials provided.

Deepen your connection to nature through a restorative practice of Earthing surrounded by the beautiful energies of the plants inside the greenhouse. You may even be so inclined to snuggle up with a greenhouse cat during the session. The addition of the overhead twinkle lights, and gentle waterfall sounds from the Koi pond are sure to lend to the magic of this session.

Soundbath & Paint at Graye's
Join Tonya Poole, an Ayurvedic nutritionalist, RYT200 certified yoga instructor and overall lovely human Friday evening (1/10) for a relaxing crystal sound bath & painting session.
Attendees will be doing a short slow stretch to release common points of tension followed by a soundbath while painting. The soundbath will consist of crystal singing bowls, steel tuning forks, and chakra chimes~and will be painting with black and white washable nontoxic paints in the greenhouse by the koi pond. Each guest will be provided with painting supplies and a canvas.
Just bring a yoga mat/cushion/props if you like and maybe a water/beverage to sip on.
No experience required.

Through extensive study and research, Lisa has created a program called Healing Flow that emphasizes aligning our energies to attract Love, Peace, and Harmony into our lives. The program was designed to guide you on a mind, and body journey of healing, and balance. Winter Solstice Creative Meditation
Join us in the darkest depths of our year to celebrate Winter Solstice with a creative meditation and indigo workshop!
As the earth itself seems to slow down in the wheel of time, we will meet in the green lush air of the historic greenhouse at Graye's to find what continues to live and bloom even in shadow of distant sun.
We will begin with binding and dying cotton scarves in inky vats of natural dye with Junepeace Rainbow, immersing our heartfelt intentions into the living ferment of indigo. This part of the creative meditation can be messy, so please dress appropriately - wear clothing/shoes that you don't mind possibly getting permanently stained by contact with drips from the dye vat.
Death Priestess will then guide us to undertake a transformative journey inspired by the ancient Wlid Hunt of Odin. Pursue the darkness that lives within, capture your hidden truths, and witness their transformation into the light of renewal. The guided meditation will connect you with the primal forces of nature, the cycle of chaos and creation, and the light that emerges from winter's darkness. Perfect for the season of reflection, release, and rebirth.

Sound Bath Meditation in the Greenhouse with Lisa Harthun
Join us inside the greenhouse of Graye's Greenhouse as we welcome back, Vibrational Sound Therapist, and Energy Master, Lisa Harthun for a special immersive Sound Bath Meditation with plant therapy. Deepen your connection to nature through a restorative practice of Earthing surrounded by the beautiful energies of the plants inside the greenhouse. You may even be so inclined to snuggle up with a greenhouse cat during the session. The addition of the overhead twinkle lights, and gentle waterfall sounds from the Koi pond are sure to lend to the magic of this session.

Event Details: Event Includes a blending of a mindful meditative exploration of the greenhouse connecting with the gentle energies of the plants, healing Pranayama (gentle breathwork), guided imagery meditation, along with Reiki and Shamanic energy healing and releasing elements. The restorative tone resonance is a unique and immersive experience enabling expanded states of consciousness through sound and vibration supported by the use of gong, specially tuned quartz crystal singing bowls, Tibetan and Himalayan singing bowls, bell, tingsha, shamanic drum, and rattle meant to open your heart and release stuck energies, along with a layer of spoken Sanskrit Mantras. Through extensive study and research, Lisa has created a program called Healing Flow that emphasizes aligning our energies to attract Love, Peace, and Harmony into our lives. The program was designed to guide you on a mind, and body journey of healing, and balance. Through this process we are able break through and release stuck energy preventing us from being in the perfect mind body flow thus allowing for deeper healing, enhanced creativity, and allowing for a greater sense of peace while attracting harmony, and abundance into our lives. Bring your family and friends and join Curiouser Clay at Graye's Greenhouse in Plymouth from 12pm to 2pm as we create festive holiday gnomes! No experience necessary as the instructor guides you through all the steps necessary to create your one-of-a-kind piece! All materials and tools are provided. Finished pieces will be available for pick-up at Grayes approximately two weeks later.
**Because of the multitude of factors that come to play in creating a piece out of clay from scratch, about 5% of the time a piece will crack in the firing process. Holiday Ornaments with Curiouser Clay
Join Curiouser Clay at Graye's Greenhouse on Sunday, November 24th from 12-2pm as we make ceramic ornaments! All tools and materials will be provided and no experience is necessary as the instructor guides you through all the steps necessary to make three clay ornaments! All ornaments will be taken back to the studio to be fired twice and then returned to Graye's Greenhouse two weeks later for pick-up.
